Location: Usually Cairns in Far North Queensland, although I could be anywhere with my laptop in my backpack.

Age: As Dr Karl said, “I am younger than a mountain, and older than a lettuce” (really doesn't give you much to go on, does it?)

Occupation: I have done many things in my time, perhaps the most rewarding was the eight years I spent as a 4wd tour guide taking people to the Daintree, Cape Tribulation, Atherton Tablelands and Cooktown. Now, I run my own web design business and I use PHP, CSS and MySQL in almost all my sites.

My workstations are:

• a Dell XPS M1530 laptop, Intel Core2Duo T9300 @ 2.5GHz, 4GB ram; Dual booting Vista Ultimate and Fedora 10. This thing is sweeeet!
• 2 x Dell P4 2.66GHz fitted with 2 HDDs and multiple operating systems (winXP, Vista, and various flavours of linux);

All machines are networked via a Billion 7300G wireless modem/router.

Interests/Hobbies: Photography; Anything science or nature based - particularly botany, especially tropical rainforest; Orchids; Bushwalking; Music - I have four guitars, a ukelele, two mouth organs, a didgeridoo, a trumpet, a violin, a piccolo, a piano accordian, an electric keyboard - and the collection is growing…
